The welcome begins by selecting from our choice of accommodation which ranges from large beach-front Island Villas to the ultimate seclusion of the over-water Escape Water Residences. There are 100 villas to choose from on this tear-shaped island and each one has been designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. From the privacy of a natural island garden to incredible 360 degree ocean views, the perfect villa is waiting for you. Whichever you choose, upon arrival you will find a calm and peaceful haven that you simply won’t want to leave. All our villas have a timeless charm and combine elements of traditional Maldivian architecture, such as a high-pitched roof, with modern customised touches, like our deep designer bathtubs.
Island Villa
Our spacious Island Villas are artfully designed retreats that combine the best of traditional Maldivian design with the latest in personal luxury.
Open plan, yet intimate, each villa includes a feature bathing area where you can submerge yourself in the large central tub, relaxing master bedroom with comfortable king-sized bed and a sunken living area with sofa, flat screen TV and personal bar.
There are two outdoor spaces where you can relax and unwind. The beachfront terrace overlooks the stunning crystal clear ocean while your private garden is the ideal way to experience sunshine filled days with sun loungers, day bed, swimming pool and outdoor shower.

Suspended on stilts above the lagoon, our luxurious Water Villas reflect the vastness of the ocean with the intimacy of an island hideaway.

Peacefully remote yet close to the island, these are the largest of our over-the-water villas giving you the ultimate feeling of seclusion as you recharge and refresh.
Spaciously comfortable, each villa features high ceilings and large windows that provide a flood of natural light. Elements of authentic Maldivian design can be seen throughout with the use of natural materials and colour.
Showcasing bespoke, comfortable furniture, every room is generous and inviting. There is a separate living room with flat screen TV, stereo and DVD player, bedroom with king-sized bed, large dressing area and bathroom with a double bath, individual basins and indoor and outdoor showers.

With an eclectic range of outdoor and indoor locations, you can discover a different dining experience every night, from a delicious BBQ on the beach to authentic Japanese dishes. Our friendly and attentive staff are always on hand to provide genuine local hospitality and will be happy to help you choose something special from the menu along with a perfectly paired beverage. We’re especially proud of our talented team of chefs, all of whom have a passion for creating innovative and original menus using local and international ingredients.With such a large selection of dining options, everyone from food lovers to gourmet connoisseurs can enjoy tastes from around the world as they sample new flavours alongside treasured favourites. From the lush green palms to the vivid coral reef, preserving and protecting the unique beauty of this natural island paradise is our focus and at the forefront of everything we do. To support the environment and the local community, we practice recycling, conservation and use of organic local produce whenever possible. We also encourage our guests to get involved with our efforts, to learn about the amazing island wildlife and discover the wide variety of sea-life that feeds around the coral. Our resident marine biologist, Chiara Fumagalli, is onsite to make sure that nature is protected and is always happy to share her knowledge of the island during your stay. Guests and staff are encouraged to join her on-going guest education programme which includes guided snorkelling tours, diving and fishing trips, a weekly evening Marine Biology Show and regular information sessions. The coral reef is beautiful but extremely fragile and constant work is undertaken to maintain the natural balance. Guests and team members regularly get involved with our Coral Nursery Projects where we stimulate and monitor coral re-growth using naturally broken coral. At Coco Bodu Hithi, we observe careful guidelines to ensure sustainable practices during fishing excursions where guests can help chart and measure protected species including the size and number of fish captured as well as releasing fish that have not yet reached maturity. This valuable data is then forwarded to the Maldives’ Marine Research Centre. Together, we are committed to protecting the biodiversity of the Maldivian seas. All of our trips, excursions and experiences are respectful of the environment, so you can enjoy everything we offer whilst staying in complete harmony with nature.
