Mandrem

Mandrem is a coastal village famous as a tourist spot in North Goa district of Goa state in India. The Mandrem beach is known for its natural beauty, and is also preferred by many over other North Goa beaches as it is less crowded. There is also a small Portugese fort close to Mandrem which can be seen just as you walk out of the beach. A river flows right behind the beach, so you must cross the river on a wooden bridge to get to the beach.
