Arthur's Pass Day Tour - TranzAlpine Experience with Jet Boat Ride

On this action packed full day tour you will encounter some of New Zealand's most amazing scenery from the carriages of the world famous Tranz Alpine train and enjoy a high-speed jet boat ride through the gorges of the Waimakariri River.

The TranzAlpine is renowned as one of the top ten train journeys in the world. From Arthurs Pass we tour by road over the snow-capped Southern Alps in the Arthurs Pass National Park and on to the Otira Gorge making a photo stop. Visit the old village of Otira before returning to Arthurs Pass for lunch at the Wobbly Kea Restaurant. 

You will then be back on the road to Christchurch, winding through the National Park where the highlight for many is the chance to get the adrenaline pumping with an amazing jet boat ride through the gorges of the Waimakariri River.
