Varca Beach

Varca is one of the most beautiful beaches south of Benaulim. Unlike other famous beaches of Goa, the beach here is much cleaner and quieter. Varca beach is part of the south Salcete coast, now home to many upmarket hotelcomplexes, though moderate options are also available. This is part of the Catholic heartland of Goa, and the churches stand impressively in the midst of coconut palms. The River Sal passes near Cavelossim and Mobor, and creates some scenic views where it meets the Arabian Sea. The beach is home to some of the most exclusive and luxurious beach resorts. Budget and economy class accommodation are also available though not on the beach itself.
