Overview

The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre embodies the spirit of partnership between Whistler's two Aboriginal cultures, the Squamish Aboriginal people and the Lil'wat Aboriginal people. Admission includes guided or self guided tours through the museum, interactive exhibits, contemporary galleries and a spectacular 15 minute film showcasing the nation’s traditional and modern cultures. Traditional song and dance ceremonies are on display, as well as traditional storytelling, craft making and demonstrations about Salish wool and cedar weaving. Visit the gift shop for one of the largest collections of Aboriginal art in Whistler or try indigenous inspired food in the Thunderbird café.
