NGUMA ISLAND LODGE offers peace and tranquility with a spectacular and exclusive view over one of the largest lagoons in the north west of the Okavango Delta. The lodge is situated on the banks of the beautiful lagoon bordered by palm trees, papyrus and reed beds. A 50 minute boat drive brings you to the main Okavango River in the panhandle where tiger fish abound and the many inlets offer good bream fishing. Recreation
The main focus at Nguma Island is the fishing. Fishermen can take a 50 minute boat ride into the delta to the main Okavango River to catch their trophy tiger or bream. Other activities at Nguma Island Lodge include boat trips, mokoro trails, island walks, game viewing, and bird watching.
