All rooms at Casa del Rio are engagingly decorated in the same Mediterranean style with a touch of Peranakan flair.Our Deluxe Rooms have a split level floor space of 50 sq metres. Comprising a dressing area, large four point bathroom, bedroom and private balcony overlooking either our central Lago or the Historic Melaka River. Part the Melaka River and Straits on the horizon are also visible from the Deluxe Lago Rooms.The dressing area off the entrance hall offers generous hanging space, a double luggage rack and six drawers. Soft white towelling robes and slippers are placed here for a comfortable transition to the luxury of your room. There is also direct access to the bathroom from the dressing area.The marble lined bathrooms have separate glass shower cubicle and a tub/bath big enough for two. Sliding bathroom shutters close for privacy or open to views of the bedroom, TV and beyond through the balcony doors. The timber floored bedrooms are furnished with pocket sprung beds, flat screen television, CD, DVD and radio tuner, I-pod player, a writing desk with international plug points, WiFi and LAN cable for free high-speed internet access.In the sideboard is a mini fridge which we can stock to order or for your own use. There is also complimentary aromatic coffee or TWG tea available.Each balcony is furnished with a chair, continental height table, a small sofa/divan and the added luxury of a ceiling fan to circulate the air.Other room facilities that you can expect include variable temperature control, electronic security-key entry, IDD telephones, In-room Electronic Safe, Hair Dryer, Iron with Ironing board and a full length mirror.
River View Deluxe
Our spacious Mediterranean-Inspired Deluxe is the main category of rooms and come in two types Lago View or River View. Built along the concept of a suite, the bed is hidden from the doorway with a hallway connecting the dressing area to the bathroom down to the sleeping area and balcony beyond.All our very comfortable, fully furnished deluxe rooms have a split level floor space of 50 square metres. The walls are tastefully decorated with pieces of replica art and carved wood panels.The room consists, a dressing area, a large four-point bathroom, bedroom and private balcony overlooking either our central courtyard Lago or the idyllic Melaka River.
Studio King
Our Studio King (61 square metres) offers guests an additional indoor floor space furnished with a custom-built Day Bed and pullout trundle below. The room’s private balcony is also slightly larger and overlooks either our Courtyard Lago or Historic Melaka River. The Day-Bed will be converted to a full bed setup in the evening during our turndown service. Our Studio King rooms are suitable for a family of 2 adults & 2 children.
River Suite
River Suite has all the facilities and amenities for guest comfort, with the added benefit of a “front-entry balcony”, dining area, living room and a guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There is also a common shower-toilet. The master bedroom with its king-sized bed also has a cosy window sofa and an ensuite four point bathroom.
Melaka Suite
Melaka Suite is also a two-bedroom suite comprising a master bedroom with king-sized bed and a guest bedroom with twin beds. These twin beds are of the super single size. The split level suite faces the sunrise with views towards Dutch Square and St Paul’s Hill. In addition the very much larger wraparound outdoor courtyard of the Melaka Suite features a jet bubble bath (Jacuzzi) and an intimate outdoor dining area.
Casa 2-Bedroom Residence Suites
Casa’s 2-bedroom Residence Suites, split-level residence is a complete luxury apartment comprising a cosy entryway, working kitchenette, dining area, living hall and balcony.
