Accomodation

Newly renovated in 2015/2016, our Lodge Rooms offer the refined details you would expect in a Four-Diamond Yosemite resort — deluxe baths, downy beds, flat-screen TVs, mountain charm and access to limitless recreation.  The pinnacle of Yosemite luxury lodging, Tenaya Lodge's spacious suites with custom in-room amenities complement the alpine grandeur that surrounds the resort. In these Four Diamond accommodations, solace and rejuvenation come easily. 

Premium Room

Premium Rooms feature upgraded bathrooms with granite countertops, rustic-style sliding doors and a completely new look and feel.

Extended Two-Queen Room

Perfect for families needing a bit more space, our extended two-queen rooms give everyone a place to relax. All the features and amenities of our premium rooms, but offering an additional 75 square feet of living space. One of the Yosemite’s best lodging values, these rooms also feature a pull-out sofa bed and private balcony or patio.

Extended King Room

An affordable upgrade from the Premium Room, the Extended King Room offers extra space to relax and a bit of added luxury. With additional living space and a seating area with pull-out sofa bed and coffee table.

Spa Room

A favorite for honeymoons! For romantic getaways and special occasions, Tenaya Lodge's nine spa rooms are elegantly appointed with private balcony, full wet bar and refrigerator and over 50% more space than a Premium room. Luxuriate in the extra-large bathroom and relax your tired muscles in the large soaking tub separate from the shower.

Deluxe Room

Deluxe rooms, remodeled in 2016, but without some of the upgrades to the Premium Rooms, offer all the space of the Premium Rooms at a more affordable price. Deluxe Rooms feature:

Luxury Suite

Enjoy classic top-of-the-line mountain luxury with Tenaya Lodge's Luxury Suites. These spacious 850 square-foot suites feature large dining/board room table for eight persons and extra-large vanity and bath area with an indulgent, oversized tub separate from the shower. Great for reunions, small meetings and rousing games of cards with the family.

Deluxe Suite

Sierra Restaurant is a favorite local dining venu, known for excellent food and a relaxing, family-friendly Yosemite dining experience, including a special kids menu. The spacious dining room centers on a towering limestone fireplace to give Sierra Restaurant a rustic, montain lodge ambiance.

Jackalope’s Bar & Grill is the place to relax, kick-back and enjoy Sierra pub fare and a full bar after your day in Yosemite. Rafting

There’s rafting in Yosemite and nearby for every appetite. Rafting on the Merced River can be one of the most refreshing ways to see Yosemite Valley's spectacular scenery. The relative flat Valley floor allows for rafting that is peaceful and kid-friendly.Outside the Valley, the river steepens and our partner, Zephyr Whitewater Rafting, takes you on a wild ride in big water as the snowpack of the Sierra Nevada turns the river into a thrilling ride. This is a great addition to a trip to Yosemite.

Pool

Tenaya Lodge offers two indoor pools and three outdoor pools, including a zero-entry kid’s splash pool with mushroom water features, new adult-only wading pool, private poolside cabanas and the Bearfoot Bar.  Enjoy the cool pools, or soak trail-weary muscles in one of Tenaya’s five hot tubs (two for adults only). Tenaya also offers an additional indoor pool and hot tub at the cottages.

Hiking

Rock Climbing

Yosemite offers some of the finest opportunities in the world for climbers of all levels, from first steps on Tenaya Lodge's 18-foot wall all the way to ascents of the massive El Capitan. Since the first ascent in 1958, The Nose route on El Cap stands as probably the most famous climb in the world — over 3,000 feet, almost a full kilometer, of technical climbing that is still considered a feather in the cap of even experienced climbers.
