The French toast and pancakes are great, or try something savoury such as the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. And then there’s The Gander - a modern bar that’s at once simple and elegant, and which offers the ideal venue for a laid back lunch. 

New York is awash with unique experiences that you will never forget. You should not miss an evening at the Nitehawk Cinema. The Brooklyn-based venue takes the whole “dinner and a movie” concept to an entirely new level by offering a menu that pairs well with the film showing. Your New York trip would also be incomplete without seeing a Broadway show. Each Broadway show offers a night to remember, with backdrops that mesmerize, stellar casts and catchy tunes. Each theatre has its own story to tell and typically runs specific shows. Finally, The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn offers a great way to end your night. Every evening, this venue hosts great concerts that feature talented up-and-coming artists. And if you’re not a concert person, you can enjoy their comedy nights instead.

Summers are hot, giving you plenty of opportunity to enjoy the outdoor festivals and parks.

Winter Fests (Dec – Feb)

There’s nothing quite like Christmas in New York, from the massive tree at the Rockefeller Centre, to the decorated window displays of Fifth Avenue. Skip the holiday season and go tour in the United States during late January and February during which time you will bear low temperatures. Some of the key events that are held in New York during winter time include the Times Square New Years Eve, and the Westminster Kennel Club Show. 

Summer Fun (Jun – Aug)

Summertime is a widely popular time for holidays in the US, particularly among families with children out of school. To combat the humidity that gets increasingly heavier, be sure to wear some cool clothes for the sticky days which rise to over 30 degrees. An array of fun festivals are on offer at this time including Metropolitan Opera in the Parks and the New York International Fringe Festival.
