Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. This allows time to complete the ticket information and receive your safety briefing. If you are late for your booking, we reserve the right to postpone your flight until the next available time slot. You will need to inform NAC Helicopters Cape Town of your combined passenger weights. All passengers will be weighed (confidentially) before departure. Supplying your weight beforehand enables us to advise you if we foresee a problem with the total weight of the aircraft you’ve booked. Passengers are required to obey all lawful commands given by the pilot and designated ground crew. Anyone who misbehaves, is disruptive or threatens the safety of another passenger(s) or NAC employee(s) will be removed and/or have their booking cancelled. As a general standard, the temperature will drop as the aircraft climbs to cruising altitude. The temperature drops 1.98ºC for every 1000ft the aircraft climbs. We suggest taking a jacket when flying in Cape Town’s winter months (June to August). You'll need a medical certificate to fly when pregnant. Should a passenger be 28 or more weeks pregnant, we will require a medical certificate from a medical practitioner stating that the pregnant passenger is fit to fly. Weather conditions can affect your flight route and altitude. We will always keep you safe, and working with mother nature means we sometimes need to alter plans to ensure that safety.
