Overview

Experience the birthplace of Calgary - Inglewood - and enjoy entertaining stories of the pioneers that settled the area and the innovators (the cooks, cheesemakers, blacksmiths, tea and spice emporium owners, grocers and saloon keepers) that keep the maverick spirit of Calgary alive. Tastings include a two course lunch with wine at award-winning Rouge Restaurant, Spolumbo's housemade sausages and microbrew beer, pizza with house made ricotta, tea, sweets and a cocktail. There's also a pineapple cutting demo with Japanese kitchen knives, a tea talk, spice blending and everyone goes home with a recipe card and a special Alberta beef spice rub. Walking distance is 5 blocks. 14 years or older recommended. Guests under the age of 18 may receive an altered menu.
